Exam Format COB Certified Manager Series

The format for the exams consists of two practical parts unique to each program track:-

1hr 30 minutes question and answers - Part A

• 1hr 30 minutes case study - Part B

• Additional 1-hr 30 minutes special paper Part C - For delegates taking a dual examination only

• Additional 1-hr 30 minutes special paper Part D - For delegates taking a full suite of COB Certified Manager certifications

Digital Skills Authority cares about all our delegates and subscribers, and we do our upmost to provide a variety of examination options. We recognize that for some learners face-to-face examinations in person with hand-written / hand-drawn answer papers work best. For others, who have the available technology and Internet connectivity available, a virtual exam method is suitable. 

 

Identity Verification

 

We use secure bank standard identify verification along with strict data protection measures, and blockchain, to ensure the integrity of our certifications.

Virtual (Remote) Exam Invigilation

​

Digital Skills Authority now offers subscribers of the COB Certified E-Learning Programs the option to take their exams remotely, with a live exam invigilator. This option is suitable when access to an ‘Authorized Testing Centre’ is not available, or if a student has the suitable technology requirements – High-speed Internet or Broadband, an up-to-date reliable computer, a webcam and a smartphone with camera. Exams are invigilated live by an examiner, via web cam and a secure online application.

Please note the Digital Skills Authority administration fee is included with the course, but if a student needs to resit an exam, and additional fee will be required. (Please note we do have a very high success rate, and we do our upmost to help students succeed in their exam first time). Pay Virtual Exam Fee

 

Classroom Course Exam Day

 

Delegates attending a classroom course, take their exam on the final day of the course. The below is the schedule for a classroom course exam day:-​

09:00 Welcome and refreshments

09:30 Essential exam practice exercise with trainer review - Part B

11:30 - 1pm Exam Part A

1-1:45 Lunch (is provided)

2-3:30pm - Exam Part B

For those attending booking an exam retake or taking an exam further to a self-study or e-learning course, refer to your local authorized testing center for timings.

 

Exam Results

​

The exam results are normally emailed to you within two weeks with your digital certification issued to your shortly after.

Self-Study Courses and Exam Retakes Classroom Courses

​

If delegates do not pass their exam the first time, they can book an exam retake. Please note that exam retake fees are not included with course packages. Exams can be booked at authorized testing centers around the globe, or a Virtual (Remote) Exam option can be purchased via our e-courses platform.

 

For Students whose first language isn't English

 

We have welcomed a number of international students on our training programs, and they have performed well in the exams.

We have implemented a number of measures to support those whose first language is not English.

​

• Extra time is incorporated into the time allowed to complete the exam

• An unmarked printed language dictionary may be brought to the exam

• Trainer present at classroom course exams can explain questions in other words

• Avoided using acronyms and used international English words in exam

• We do not test on ability to write and consideration made for language differences.

Exam Fees and Booking

​

Exams can be taken exclusively by delegates and subscribers having completed their course. Our online programs offer the option to take exams online, either as part of your subscription or as an addition via Live Online.  Please refer to the individual courses on our e-learning platform. Classroom program exams are taken during and part of the training course. Please contact us for further information regarding booking any resits.
