What are the skills of the future?
In employment, the skills we need now and in the near future, particularly with automation and artificial intelligence, mean we need to focus on our cognitive skills and thinking. Critical thinking and analysis, complex problem-solving, learning strategies, creativity and originality, emotional intelligence, leadership and social influence are all of vital importance. ‘Digital’ alone will not suffice. How humans interface with ‘Digital’ is critical to the success of humanity, employment and the economy.
